The location of today’s dive will depend on the prevailing weather conditions and optimal visibility, and your experienced guide will pick between the Muiron Islands and the Ningaloo Reef as the site of your experience. Surrounded by an abundance of coral gardens, rocky ledges, and intriguing dive sites, the Muiron Islands are located about 10 nautical miles northeast of Exmouth. Keep your eyes peeled during the one-hour trip across to the islands and look out for ospreys, shearwaters, turtles, manta rays, dolphins, dugongs, and during their migration, the mighty humpback whales. Swim-throughs and ledges provide plenty of spots perfect to search for shrimp, nudibranch, eel, juvenile angelfish, and other timid creatures. In mid-water and against the reefs look for friendly potato cod, large Rankin cod, turtles, nurse sharks, soft coral gardens, anemones, clams, and thousands of darting, colorful reef fish. The diving sites around the Ningaloo outer reef area are just as magical with opportune sightings of mantas, turtles, and an abundance of other marine species. Continue your experience as you venture out to look for mantas from the deck of a big stable boat. In the whale season, you might also be able to spot humpback whales. Your tour concludes with a transfer back to your accommodation in Exmouth.

A spotter plane is used to locate the whale sharks which eliminates the need to use the feed in order to attract them. Then it’s time for one of the greatest adventures of your lifetime! Jump into the refreshing turquoise sea and snorkel alongside these beautiful, docile giants. Back on board, a marine biologist will teach you all about this mesmerizing species and the ecology of the reef.
