These peaks were absolutely incredible. The vertical relief was of such magnitude that I was regularly forced to stitch with my 11mm lens just to get a foreground. The first shot comes from being underneath the overhangs of a Glacier looking towards a 4000ft high sheer granite face at about 16,000ft altitude, and the second is from one of our base camps before making this trek up here and depicts the striated granite looking up a ridiculous 10,000 nearly vertical feet to the summit of a peak locals call Gray Tower.
