Cultural Immersion

Begin your day at one of the unique wonders of Fiji, the Sigatoka Sand Dunes – Fijis’ National Heritage Park with an abundance of scenic beauty. The Park is also famous for its rich archaeological history, with significant clues to man’s arrival in Fiji discovered in the late 1980s’. With the discovery of pottery remains at the Sand Dunes, you will travel further up to the hills of Sigatoka Nakabuta village, well known for its’ pottery-making descendants. Amazement, as history comes to life when you witness how these villagers continue to practice ancient culture. Including Fijian make dance and light, refreshments will be served at the village.

Located on the other side of Sigatoka River, Kula Eco Park is a place not to be missed! Ecological preservation for Fijis’ wildlife, the park has an array display of indigenous flora and fauna, including reptiles, birdlife, amphibians, and tropical fish. You’ll be lucky if you get a chance to feed the turtles. Tour includes a light lunch at the Park. Return to the resort with a scenic drive along the Coral Coast.

Yaukuve Levu Island is a private island located approximately 100 miles (162 km) from the main island of Fiji and houses the exclusive Kokomo Private Island Resort. Located just 45 minutes from Nadi International Airport, guests can travel to Kokomo Private Island in the resort’s private Twin Otter Seaplane. Once you have arrived, relax and unwind on white-sand beaches and in warm turquoise waters; indulge at one of three dining venues or enjoy a private dining experience; or explore the underwater world on the house reef or kayak around the island at sunrise.

Fiji sunsets are known to be among the best in the world. This evening, take in the magnificent palette of colors as the sun sets over the horizon on our magical evening cruise, serving canapés and beverages throughout. This cruise will operate with a maximum of 4 guests onboard for your comfort.

Island Time

This afternoon, get out and explore the surrounding lush landscapes. Travel by boat to a nearby island and prepare to trek inland and uphill. Kadavu is home to an abundance of magnificent flora and fauna, just waiting to be explored. The walk is rewarding and well worth the adventure when you cool off with a dip in the refreshing natural waterfall. Take advantage of Kokomo’s prime location and explore the underwater world, where you’ll discover thriving coral reefs and unique marine life. Encircled by the Great Astrolabe Reef, direct access is available through multiple locations across the island. Only a 10-minute boat ride away, the ‘Stick Bomby’ reef is teeming with marine life. During the season, Manta Rays and Dolphins can be encountered at the South end of the island. All equipment is complimentary from our Dive and Water sports Centre.
