  1. Day 1 SYDNEY

    You’ve Arrived

    A welcome package with a detailed itinerary, supplier contact list, various brochures of the destinations you will be visiting, and any other touristic information that we deem you may find useful will be waiting for you upon arrival at the first hotel on your trip.

    For your comfort, an assistant will be waiting for you outside of Customs holding a sign with your name on it. This representative will assist you in meeting your private driver and accompany you to your accommodation in Sydney to assist with check-in.

  2. Day 2 SYDNEY

    Sun and Surf

    Meet your private guide and driver at your hotel before transferring to Coogee, one of Australia’s oldest seaside towns. Meander along the promenade to the Cliff Walkway where you’ll enjoy picturesque views of the Pacific Ocean. Stroll past an old cemetery, then on to see samples of past “Sculptures by the Sea” exhibitions. Further on, visit the beautiful sandy surfing beach of Bronte where you may wish to break at one of the many excellent cafes for refreshments and rest while learning about the colorful sandstone rock formations in the cliffs as surfers ride the waves to shore. Fortunate guests may also see migrating whales which often are spotted off the coastline in this area. On arrival at the beachside mecca of Bondi, you’ll stop for lunch at the iconic Sydney Icebergs Swimming Club. Here you’ll enjoy sumptuous food served amid stunning views. Choose to then stroll down the esplanade with the locals, take a refreshing swim, or even enjoy an ice cream before re-boarding your vehicle and making your way back to your hotel.

  3. Day 3 SYDNEY

    Sail the Seas

    This unique day is the ultimate way to experience the beauty of Sydney alongside an experienced guide. Your guide will meet you at your city hotel for a drive around the historic Rocks precinct, considered the birthplace of Sydney. Meander through the magnificent Royal Botanical Gardens, taking a short walk to view Mrs Macquarie’s chair and excellent views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Your drive continues through Woolloomooloo, Kings Cross and into Rushcutters bay where you’ll stop to enjoy a lunch at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia, Australia’s premier yacht club and home to what is considered yachting’sEverest’ – the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race. Next, it’s on through Darling Point, one of Sydney’s most affluent suburbs to see some of Sydney’s most sought-after addresses. Pass by scenic bays before traversing along the coastline to Sydney’s beachside Mecca of Bondi Beach. Stroll down the esplanade with the locals, maybe even enjoying an ice cream before re-boarding your vehicle. On return to the city, you’ll arrive at Darling Harbour where your yacht awaits to transport you around Sydney Harbour for a leisurely cruise and delicious afternoon tea. After an incredible 2 hours on the world’s most beautiful harbour, your vessel returns to Darling Harbour. You may choose to stay and enjoy the lively atmosphere here or return to your hotel at your leisure.

  4. Day 4 SYDNEY TO AYERS ROCK

    A Change of Scenery

    You will be privately transferred between your accommodations and Sydney Airport alongside a professional driver.

    An outback experience like no other, the Sounds of Silence dinner offers guests an unforgettable evening dining event under the canopy of the desert night sky. Awarded by the Australian Tourism Hall of Fame, enjoy the best of the Red Centre during these four magical hours. The experience begins with canapés and chilled sparkling wine served on a viewing platform overlooking the striking Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. As the sun sets, join your table for an introduction to Aboriginal culture as you take in a traditional dance performance under the outback sky. As the sounds of the didgeridoo dances in the air, attentive staff will keep your glass full with a selection of Australian wine and beer as the first course is served. As the sky full of twinkling stars comes to life, you’ll feast on the buffet that incorporates native bush ingredients such as crocodile, kangaroo, barramundi, and quandong. The evening continues as the resident star-talker decodes the exceptionally clear southern night sky. Locate the famous Southern Cross, the Milky Way, the signs of the zodiac, as well as planets and galaxies that are visible in the exceptional clarity of Uluru. The evening ends with a delightful dessert and your choice of a glass of port, coffee, or tea.

  5. Day 5 AYERS ROCK

    Cultural Immersion

    Immerse yourself in the world’s oldest living culture as you accompany a traditional Uluru family to their homeland, also known as Patti. A unique and exclusive touring experience, Patji is located just outside of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park south of Uluru. Explore this extraordinary environment by 4WD with your Aboriginal guide, stopping along the way to hear fascinating stories such as how Paddy Uluru fought for Aboriginal Land rights to where Uluru is today. The Uluru family wants to share their personal journey with you during this authentic cultural experience. Join them under a remote shelter to hear how they survived in this desert environment, long before the arrival of tourism. Continue to a private sand dune to view the great expanse of the red desert overlooking the majestic Uluru and Kata Tjuta.

  6. Day 6 AYERS ROCK TO CAIRNS TO PORT DOUGLAS

    Sunrise, Sunset

    Today you will travel towards Uluru to marvel at vast monolithic shapes that rise from the sand dunes in the early dawn hours. Your guide will take you to a special location to watch the sunrise over this amazing monolith. You will learn the Creation stories of Liru (poisonous snake) and Kuniya (python) and hear about the Mala people. After breakfast, you will visit Mutitjulu Waterhole and then drive around the base of the Uluru before returning to the resort. Departure is from your Ayers Rock accommodation between 4.45 a.m. and 6.15 a.m. depending on the time of the year. The tour takes approximately 3 hours and has a maximum group size of 11 passengers. Please bring your own water bottle.

Tonight, consider making a reservation at one of these excellent establishments. For a more casual evening, stroll along Macrossan Street and you’re sure to find some delicious pizza and gelato.

  7. Day 7 PORT DOUGLAS

    Sit back and relax on the beautiful yacht and set sail to the Coral Cays of Mackay or Undine Reefs. Enjoy an authentic sailing experience, following the coastline and views of the Daintree mountains. Once at the protected sites at the Coral Cays, nature activities will include snorkeling over the pristine coral reef with a qualified marine biologist offering reef interpretation on a guided snorkel tour. A glass-bottom boat coral viewing tour is also on offer. Premium reef sites showcase abundant marine life, including encounters with turtles and an amazing display of giant clam gardens, beautiful corals, and a wide variety of fish. Exploring the white sands of the coral cays will relax the mind. Soak up the sun, peace, and tranquility, and swim in turquoise clear waters.   8. Day 8 PORT DOUGLAS

    Lose Yourself in Nature

    Departing your hotel, travel through the rich farming areas toward the World Heritage-listed forest region of the Daintree National Park. Step aboard your own personalized craft for a cruise on the mirrored smooth waters of the Daintree River. Cruise close to riverbanks and under the overhead canopy of the rainforest seeking out the vivid Ulysses Butterfly, Kingfishers, Pythons, and other wildlife. The cruise takes you through silent backwaters where crocodiles can normally be seen basking on the muddy banks. Arriving on the northern side of the river you’ll enter the Daintree section of the Wet Tropics World Heritage protected rainforest. Enjoy a homemade morning tea underneath the rainforest canopy. Next, the journey takes you up the beautiful Alexandra Range passing through the local rainforest where you’ll take a scenic walk through this amazing ecosystem. Immerse yourself inside protected forests on this guided walk to view ancient plants and amazing wildlife. Today you will also learn about the local aboriginal culture of the area. Continuing along your next stop is at one of the magical beaches that adorn the coastline of Cape Tribulation; here your guide will highlight the amazing wildlife and ecosystems unique to this part of the world. Lunch today is a delicious meal that includes rainforest-inspired local produce. This is a unique opportunity to enjoy quality food while basking in the serenity of the tropical rainforests. You will also have the opportunity to get up close and personal with reptiles, frogs, and lizards endemic to the area. If the cute and cuddly animals are more to your liking, then you will have the opportunity to feed the kangaroos and swamp wallabies in your own private zoo. After lunch you will get to see unusual, exotic fruit originating from all over the globe’s tropical regions. Along with the fruit trees, the orchard is also a host to beautiful species of tropical flowering plants, both native and introduced. The sole purpose for the fruit grown here is to make pure, fresh, ice cream and sorbet which is made on the property and sold nowhere else on the globe. For ice cream lovers, this is your chance to add to your list of flavors (not included). The last stop and final lasting impression will be at the outstanding panoramic picture postcard view at Alexandra Range Lookout. From here you’ll have a spectacular view of the mouth of the Daintree River, Snapper Island and on a clear day, Port Douglas. One final treat for the day is the crossing on the Daintree River Ferry – the iconic vehicle punt which transfers you out of the world heritage rainforest and onto your home-ward road. You will be back at your accommodation early in the evening.

  9. Day 9 PORT DOUGLAS TO CAIRNS TO MELBOURNE

    You will be picked up from your Port Douglas Hotel and taken by private car to Cairns City or airport.

  10. Day 10 MELBOURNE

    This morning, enjoy time at leisure to explore at your own pace or relax at your hotel.

    Enjoy a remarkable exploration of Melbourne’s wildlife in this family-friendly private-guided adventure. Meet your private guide and driver at your hotel before driving through beef and dairy cattle farms, horse breeding studs, and swampland. Enjoy afternoon tea en-route before crossing the bridge to Phillip Island. Recognized as a world leader for environmental conservation, Phillip Island’s sandy and rocky shorelines teem with wildlife, including over 200 species of birds. On Phillip Island’s northern side, you can look out for masked lapwings, spoonbills, ibis, herons, and black swans. Your next visit is the Koala Conservation Center, one of the few areas in Victoria where you can see a protected koala colony. Walk among the treetops in nature reserve bushland and observe the wild marsupials within touching distance, perhaps also spotting a wild wallaby or two. Time permitting you’ll pass by Swan Lake, the island’s largest freshwater lake, and head to the ‘Nobbies’, a magnificent headland with views that stretch over Mornington Peninsula and the Bass Strait. Just under one mile offshore are Seal Rocks, home to Australia’s largest Australian Fur Seal colony. You’ll witness the incredible Penguin Parade at dusk, where Little Penguins arrive in groups on the beach after their day of fishing. Watch as they waddle their way into the dunes where their burrow nests are situated. Observing and learning about penguins’ behavior and their daily routines is an amazing learning experience and a great memory for the whole family. Your evening finishes with dinner in the township of Rhyll before returning to Melbourne in the late evening.

  11. Day 11 MELBOURNE

    Taste and Tipple on a Vineyard Visit

    Pick up from your Melbourne hotel or St. Paul’s Cathedral at 8.45 – 9.15 am. The tour starts at the De Bortoli Winery, a third-generation, Italian family-owned winery and one of the biggest wine companies in the Yarra Valley. Enjoy a hosted tasting of cheese from the Cheese Maturation Room matched with their Yarra Valley estate wine. Next, meet the winemaker Graeme Miller at Dixon’s Creek Estate. The cellar door overlooks a working winery and the vineyard provides some of the best views of the Yarra Valley. Dixon’s Creek also has a fine display of Aboriginal Art from the Central and Western deserts and Arnhem Land. Nestled in the heart of the Yarra Valley to stopover and enjoy lunch at Domaine Chandon Winery or the beautiful, family-owned Tokar Estate. Sit back and enjoy the amazing views and a 2-course lunch with wine. Visit Coldstream Hills Winery one of the most popular wineries in the region and be greeted like an old friend and treated to some world-class tastings including varietals and reserves. Coldstream Hills is home to Australian wine critic, James Halliday. The final step of the journey of the Valley is at 9th generation winemaker Dominique Portet for afternoon tea where you can soak in the stunning surroundings and passion of the family-owned winery. And return to your hotel door or pick-up location by 5.00 – 5.30 pm.
