Must-Have Items while Hiking:

This List contains items and equipment that you must bring while Hiking in Pakistan.

  1. Thermal rest or any similar mat/pad for sleeping
  2. Warm hat
  3. Warm jacket
  4. Spare laces
  5. Underwear (normal and thermal)
  6. Trekking poles (highly recommended)
  7.  Walking socks (2/3 pairs)
  8. Sun protection cream
  9. Base layer – leggings (Thermal)
  10. Trekking Trousers
  11. Base layer thermal shirts (2 long sleeves, 2 short sleeves)
  12. Mountaineering equipment
  13. First Aid Pack (Diamox (Altitude), Dioralite, antiseptic cream, blister treatment, throat lozenges, plasters, Imodium (diarrhea treatment), painkillers)
  14. Hiking Backpack (Day Pack) 32-42 Liters
  15. Waterproof jacket
  16. Waterproof over-trousers
  17. Antibacterial handwash
  18. Shirts/T-shirts
  19. Small towel
  20. Socks
  21. Fleece jacket with hood or a warm jumper
  22. Mittens or gloves
  23. Headtorch with spare batteries
  24. Hiking boots
  25. Sleeping bag (-16°C comfort rated)

  1. Mountaineering boots that must be compatible with your crampons. Minimum Grade B2.
