Fascinating Activities In Hunza, Gilgit Baltistan
Hunza is a well-known tourist spot in Pakistan’s northwestern region. The city is perched on some of the world’s tallest peaks. Once you’ve arrived in Hunza, there are plenty of things to see and do.
Baltit fort: This seven-hundred-year-old castle is inspired by Tibetan architecture and resembles the Potala Palace in Lhasa in appearance. Renting a car to get about this area is simple, just make sure it has adequate engine capacity.
Altit Fort: The repair of the structure began in 2004 and was finished six years later. Despite being smaller than Baltit, the Fort is equally stunning and provides spectacular views. It is 300 rupees to enter, and a guided tour of the fort is required.
Kha Basi Café: This beautiful and precise cafe, staffed entirely by women, has a modest inside eating area. Chap Chrro (meat-filled flatbread), Brustz Shapik (local cheese flatbread with herbs and apricot oil), and Diram Phitti are all traditional Hunza foods (a wholesome dessert made with wheat and apricot oil).
Eagles Nest: The Eagles Nest hotel is a 40-minute tough uphill trek from Karimabad. A popular point of view is just next to the hotel and is best seen between sunrise and sunset. You might be able to get there just before sunset, and the views as the light changed and faded were breathtaking.
Café De Hunza: Serena Inn is within a 5-minute walk from this fantastic café. Hunza Walnut Cake is a dense pastry-like cake with a caramel walnut filling. Giant fluffy pancakes come with a variety of toppings such as spinach and Nutella for toppings.
Attabad Lake: After a severe landslide in 2010, the Hunza Serena lake was formed. The lake is surrounded by mountains, and a lodge is 40 minutes away by car. According to boat tours, boat journeys last around 50 minutes and cost 2000 Rs. To appreciate the tranquilly of the area, simply get there by automobile.
