Bangkok, Thailand | Best Tourist Spots

Bangkok is Thailand’s attractive, busy, and slightly overpowering capital. Most people begin their adventure across Thailand or Asia in Bangkok. With so much to see and do in Bangkok, you could easily spend three days there. Bangkok is either adored or despised by its inhabitants. This Bangkok travel guide will show you the top spots and attractions to make you fall in love with the city!

Explore the canals by long-tail boat

The “Venice of the East” is a vast network of canals that run alongside rivers where many Thais dwell in their traditional wooden houses. Bangkok’s canals ran the length and breadth of the city.

Thonburi is extremely attractive and less touristic, and a long-tail boat tour around its canals is highly recommended.

Visit the hipster markets

Bangkok is the market capital of the world. Keep an eye out for all the minor streets where you can locate a bustling market when walking or driving about the city. Bangkok markets come in a variety of tastes and sizes.

Get yourself a smoothie!

Fresh fruit smoothies are a big deal in Thailand, no matter where you travel. They’re wonderful, come in a variety of fruit flavors, and are inexpensive. Make a smoothie for yourself!

Fresh fruit smoothies are available at every market but be aware that most booths add sugar water to enhance the flavor. Ask for ‘no sugar’ if you want to be healthy.

Bangkok, Thailand

Eat like a local

The tastiest Thai food may be found in markets and small roadside food stands. Delicious curries, Pad Thais, spicy green mango salad, chicken cashew, and a plethora of other options are all available. Prepare yourself for a spectacular culinary adventure.

Wat Benchamabophit

Wat Benchamabophit offers a truly spectacular dawn if you get up early enough. The temple’s unique beauty comes from Italian marble, and it is our favourite temple in Bangkok. It’s just outside Bangkok’s old town, and because it’s not well-known (yet), you’ll probably be one of the few people there.

Tuk-Tuk through the city

Another thing to do in Bangkok is to take a Tuk Tuk ride at least once. They zigzag through traffic to get you from point A to point B in minutes. Take a Tuk Tuk from Wat Benchamabophit and ask him to

drop you off to the Wat Arun ferry terminal. It will take about 20 minutes, and the cost should be between 100 and 200 THB. On the forehand, come to an agreement on a price.

When it comes to bargaining, Tuk Tuk drivers are tough and obstinate. Take a Grab Taxi instead if you can’t agree on a decent fee.
