Bali Has Revived
Bali has revived here’s you can do now, from wellness to dining
Until recently, clean foodies, wave runners, and crypto investors had to spend at least three days quarantined in a government-approved hotel when visiting Indonesia’s beach-fringed hotspot. Not any longer: On March 14, the government declared that vaccinated tourists to Bali will no longer be required to quarantine upon arrival after nearly two years of coronavirus closure.
Furthermore, there are a few additional obstacles to overcome: Americans who’ve been fully vaccinated must provide a negative PCR test within 48 hours of arriving in Bali, and another PCR test once they arrived. They’ll be transported to a CHSE-certified hotel of the traveler’s choosing while they wait for results, where they’ll be free to roam after having a negative PCR result but must stay for at least three nights and take another test on day three. After the third day’s test comes back negative, they are free to leave the hotel.
Travelers who get past these obstacles will be among the first to sample a host of new hotels, bars, and restaurants that have sprung up throughout the island during the pandemic’s absence.
